About the Gatehouse
Our bakery is uniquely housed in the historic gatehouse of Ivy Hall in the village of Muttontown, on Long Island in NY. Built in 1908, this charming structure is the sole remnant of the mansion that once graced the landscape until its demolition in 1950. Today, it stands as the creative sanctuary where our extraordinary, Instagram-worthy cakes come to life.

We are Paul and Betty, a husband and wife team fueled by creativity, precision, and a passion for making life’s sweetest moments even more memorable.
Paul brings an engineer’s mind and an artist’s touch to our cakes. He's a social media software engineer and also a competition-level pumpkin carver, known for transforming ordinary gourds into intricate works of art. You can check out some of his carving creations on Instagram.
Betty is a highly sought-after makeup artist in the news industry, working at the top of her field where she crafts flawless looks for celebrities and public figures alike. Her keen eye for detail, color, and artistry shines through in every cake design we create.
